How time flies! The Vancouver Urban Farming Society officially incorporated one year ago – we invite you to join us in celebrating this year’s urban farming accomplishments with delicious local food and beverages and electing 2012-2013 Board of Directors. Those who joined us last year are sure to remember the delicious local catering – we are happy to announce that Alex MacNaughton will once again be catering this year’s event!

This year, our AGM will feature a few short stories from urban farmers who would like to share some of their funny/unique/teachable farming experiences. If you have a story you would like to share, please contact us!

Volunteer on the Board of Directors

If you’re interested in helping to build the capacity of this society, please consider running for the Board! We ask that you send us an email ahead of time, describing a bit about your skills and interest in urban farming.

Membership

We will have membership registration at the AGM – you must be a member in order to vote or run for the board. Membership is on a sliding scale, with a minimum donation of $20. We understand that it’s a very busy time of year (many of us on the board are farmers too!) but we hope you’ll take the time out to come share some food and shape this society!
