As part of a year-long community research project on urban farming in Vancouver, the Vancouver Urban Farming Society www.urbanfarmers.ca is looking to recruit community surveyors from across the City of Vancouver who will each be responsible for collecting valuable survey data from people in their neighbourhood on their perceptions and experiences with urban farming.

If you are interested in applying to be a community surveyor, please submit an online application by August 15. Note that you must be available to attend a training on August 19 from 6-7 PM.

We will be contacting people on August 16 with confirmation of whether we have a position for them or not. The time commitment is from August 19 – September 13 with approximately 15-20 hours of work required. A $100 honorarium will be given to all community surveyors who successfully complete the minimum quota of surveys for their neighbourhood.
